Education and Skills

Education and skilling are a crucial enabler for social and economic empowerment. At Taru, we are driven to improve access to quality education and skilling, and their delivery across all sections of society. To achieve this, we have been involved with various Corporates, Government organizations, and Funding agencies to undertake various projects and assignments for improving the access and quality of education and skill building. We have performed numerous assessments to understand the impact of ICT and computer-aided learning programs, and CSR initiatives focused on improving the schools in the communities. Our evaluation and assessment of the first phase of the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) was lauded by the key stakeholders involved. Our learnings from this first phase allowed us to support the development of the scheme's second phase. Additionally, we have also documented the best practices in teaching, recruitment of teachers, and performance. Our insights and learnings at the conceptual and implementation level have provided us with a unique perspective, which has benefitted in holistic assessments of the programs. 

We have also worked on various programs and interventions supporting skill development through vocational training and skilling programs. We have worked extensively on market assessments for skilling programs; needs and impact assessment of CSR interventions focusing on skill development; evaluation of skilling and various other training programs; and has assisted in skill development of several stakeholders such as students, community members, and government officials on a wide variety of topics. 

Our key intervention areas include needs and impact assessments for CSR activities, program evaluation, and undertaking various research studies to develop key insights that allow strategic planning.
